When supplier user account is being requested by supplier self service users, such as through external registration or profile change request, an email address is used by default as the username for the user account.  The self service user may enter an email address that is the same as the username of an existing user account.  For security reason, the self service user will not be alerted of the duplication.  Upon registration request approval or change request approval, the user account request will fail due to the duplicate username/email.  As supplier contact user account cannot be created, the supplier user will not have visibility to the issue.
