Canadian Standard category T&L element pro-rating hours in Payroll
Summary
Canadian Standard category T&L element pro-rating hours in PayrollContent
Hi All,
Post 18C release, we're creating a Canadian "Reg Hours Worked" element for use in Time and Labor and using the "Standard" element category. This setup requires the creation of a CIR calculation component. The Reg Hours Worked element is entered to a timecard, approved, transferred to Payroll and a Quickpay is run. When checking the Quickpay Run Results we find that the Hours are being prorated using the following formula: (hours/260) x 24 . (260 is 52x5 working days and 24 is semimonthly pay periods) This results in an incorrect run result. There should be no proration of the hours.
