We are going through an intensive job redesign project and the end result is an inventory of new job codes and names with descriptions. 

I do not see anywhere to put a description.  These descriptions can be somewhat lengthy.

Ex.  "Ensures the design, development, execution and implementation of scientific research and/or development in collaboration with a research team.  Investigates the feasibility of applying a wide variety of scientific principles and theories to potential inventions and products.  Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories.  May contribute to scientific literature and conferences.  Individuals are typically part of a formal company post-doc program."
