Develop a OTBI report by Merging two OTBI Subject Area


I have a requirement to develop OTBI report using two OTBI subject areas.  Following OTBI subject area needs to be merged

Receivables - Miscellaneous Receipts Real Time

Receivables - Receipts Details Real Time

Has anyone experienced developing report by merging two subject areas?  What are the Standards Practise and methods to ensure the report is accurate and there is no inconsistency?

Also, any pros and cons while merging two subject areas?
