Flexible shifts/schedule using REST API
Summary
Flexible shifts/schedule using REST APIContent
Hi,
We have employees working in shifts wherein their schedule changes frequently, almost every week. Since their shifts changes frequently it is not possible to maintain all the combinations of shifts in Fusion.
Client wants to import their employees schedule from 3rd party WFM device to ensure time adherence in OTL (e.g. late coming, early leaving etc.) which is a must requirement as this leads to penalty in form of pay deductions for those days.
When we are using REST API to import schedule, it fails at shift import "create" step as it looks for 'shift code' in HCM and because that shift does not exist in HCM, the REST API failed.
