To transfer data from DFFs to OTBI Report subject areas

Every time when transaction is entered in GL where we are maintaining data in Dffs as well, then to update these balances in OTBI, do we need to run the process 'Import Oracle Fusion Data Extensions for Transactional Business Intelligence'. The reason of this question is that, it taken almost 30-40 mins to complete so is there other way round or in real business scenario we will need to schedule this at day end before OTBI reports can be run and generated.
