Summary

Absence Responsive UI not sending notification when absence is withdrawn by employee

Content

Hi

We have enabled Absence responsive UI. When an employee submits a vacation request it triggers a notification to the approver.

When an employee withdraws an approved absence request, no notification is triggered. Because of this, the withdrawn request is hanging in some black hole. The approver cannot approve or reject the withdrawal as no notification exists for his action. This is causing user adoption as well as administrative overhead for absence team.

We have raised this as an SR and Oracle team is able to replicate the issue. We were made to understand that this is expected behavior and they may consider this functionality for the future release.

Howdy, Stranger!
