What is the Event Class "External Revenue Adjustment"?

When I ran Create Accounting for External Revenue I have several lines where the Event Class is "External Revenue Adjustment".  I have not been able to find what causes this kind of transaction.  Has anyone else had these types of transactions?  Any information on how these are created would be much appreciated.
