Unable to activate mobile edit page

Summary

When I build a mobile app and add an edit page, clicking Edit doesn't navigate to the page

Content

When I create a mobile application and run the Edit quickstart, I get an edit page and a swipe action with an action chain to activate the edit page. When I run the application in Live or with Run inside VBCS, I can swipe to get the Edit button, but clicking it doesn't do anything. What am I doing wrong?
