Multi period accounting integration with Projects and Purchasing

Hi All,

Does multi period accounting (funtionality that exists in AP) work along with Projects and Purchasing. We have the customer who pays rent but paid upfront and that monthly cost should be expensed out every month to project instead of all cost coming to projects. Any workaround to tackle this scenario would be highly appreciated.
