So, what is the sales funnel ? A sales funnel is basically painting a picture of your sales pipeline health and attainment. It can be created in many ways, meaning you can bring in the performance metrics that matter to your business. In Oracle Sales Cloud, i.e., in Sales OTBI, we focus on the most compelling sales performance metrics by showing sales quota and open pipeline and juxtapose these against the opportunity sales stage.

Let us take a closer look at the sales funnel as it appears in the ‘out of the box’ Pipeline Report.(refer Image).  Please note that this report is applicable to the Sales Rep, Sales Manager and the Sales Executive alike, so pipeline revenue numbers are rolled up values for managers and executives.
