What's the control of Analytic region on Newsfeed homepage?

Hi Experts,

We created our custom line manager role by copying from the delivered one, removed some unwanted duties/privileges. 

Note: none of the Transaction Analysis Duty was removed.

However, we found the Analytics region on the newsfeed home page for this custom line manager role is gone.

Any idea why this happened? Or anybody knows what is the setup to make the Analytics region back?
