How to hide default reports so that they dont show and cant be picked in schedule job list?

Is it possible to remove standard ess reports from showing up in schedule job list? We have desire to hide some of the available reports/jobs from the schedule list. There are quite a lot of reports we do not use.

Tried using permissions but since its standard I was denied. 

If needed later we would rater hide them, and not delete them.

Suggestions are welcome
