Reading file with # delimiter

Hi All,

I have a requirement to read a .csv file generated with # as delimiter. As the FTP adapter doesn't have the capability to read file contents with # as delimiter, the entire row is being returned as one column. 

I would like to know if there is any best approach to extract these individual columns with out of string functions.
