Summary

Need a better way to create schedules for BI reports

Content

I have a number of custom BI Reports that have various schedules that generally run over a full 90 period.  These reports are copied to specific sftp folders for processes and integrations with other systems.  The 90 day maximum limit for scheduled BI reports if limiting and I'm sure other customers have written about this.

Even though you can check a box to remind you 5 days ahead of when a schedule will expire, sometimes this will be missed and the schedule will expire, therefore stopping other processes that depend on the placing of the report in the sftp folder.  At one point, in relation to an SR I submitted for issues I was having with custom BI reports, support mentioned the creation of multiple overlapping schedules to ensure that scheduled reports always keep running.

Howdy, Stranger!
