Smart View Attribute Submission Not Working

I am trying to assign an attribute value to a new member through Smart View Admin Extension. It shows a 0 instead of a blank cell and the list of attribute options is not available in a drop down like it used to be. 

When I try to type in the option or copy and paste from a different cell and submit the attribute assignment, it does not submit and reverts back to a 0.

I can change a current member's attribute, but cannot update a new member's attribute.
