Multiple Data Role Priority

Hi All

We are implementing OTL for one of our clients.

Requesting for inputs for the below scenario.

REQUIRMENT: Managers to view only time cards of employees in a specific department the manager is in charge of.

To handle the above requirement we have generated a data role for Time and Labor Manager Role such a way that the managers can search for employees based on a specific department they are in charge for. This is handled using AOR and Person Security profile.

  1. When the employee has only the above generated “Time and Labor Manager Data Role” assigned the search works as expected. (ie) the search results display only the time cards of the employees which the manager is responsible for.

Howdy, Stranger!
