Changes required related to process for HRGs to change the Start Date of New Hires
Summary
Changes required related to process for HRGs to change the Start Date of New HiresContent
Data Entry team receives every week requests from HRGs to change the Start Date of New Hires. New Hire records would have 2 assignments: a terminated Pending Worker and an active Employee assignment. They would go and follow the instructions in yellow below, and correct the date on the Employee assignment. Unfortunately, Oracle, by design, would only update the date on the Employee assignment and not update the end date of the Pending Worker.
Example:
• Candidate John will start at a company on 5/15.
• Data team End Date the Pending Worker assignment effective 5/14 and Hire the employee on an Employee assignment effective 5/15.
