DV Project - Filters are not getting applied uniformly across visuals when built using different OBI
Summary
DV Project - Filters are not getting applied uniformly across visualization when built using different OBIEE subject areas
Content
Hello,
We are observing following issue in DV Projects.
When a project is built using multiple OBIEE Subject areas, we are seeing the filters are NOT getting applied uniformly across visualizations. This issue is occuring for users having DV Consumer role.
For example. A project is being built using two OBIEE subject areas (SA1 & SA2) and in project canvas, we have built two visualizations Vz1(from SA1) and Vz2(From SA2).
In the filter section, if we using Time (Year) from SA1, then the Time filter is not getting passed in Vz2.
Further we observed that if we give users DVAuthor role and also access to Subject areas we are not seeing above issue. However this work around is not acceptable to our business users.
Has anyone faced similar issue
Thanks,
Kanaka
