how to restrict Primary home address when performing global transfer

We performed global transfer action on one employee and the home address from previous work relationship(with IN legal Employer) is been getting into new work relationship(with US legal Employer) and making this as primary mailing address. Could you please tell if the previous address can be restricted so that not to come to new Work relationship while performing global transfer transaction.
