Learning Assignment with Renewal option or a learning Intaitive

Looking for suggestions on which is a better option to use

Content

Hi ,

One of our clients have a requirement where they have courses that require renewal and then there are courses that require one-time assignment.

I see that there is a renewal option available if we create a learning assignment with type "Required"

Doesn't this actually serve the purpose of a learning intiative in some capacity? (Minus the learner reconciliation option)

I just want to understand when would it be advised to use learning assignment with renewal against using a learning intiative with renewal options.

Regards,

Smita
