Quick Actions for Manager & Search Bar Load White Screen

Newsfeed switched on but no responsive profiles set to Y

Hello,

We are wanting to launch Newsfeed as phase 1 and later switch on the responsive screens, when using the quick actions and search bar, to click promote the screen jumps to a white screen, should this be working? Or do they only work when responsive is set to Y? for which modules, My Team?
