Summary

Smart View Substitution Variables extension crash - is there a solution?

Content

Hi all !

Config: Windows 10 64bit, Office 2016 32 bit, Smart View 11.1.2.5.700

Effect: Open a provider services connection (shared/private) to Essbase, connect and start ad hoc against - any - cube that has substitution variables assigned.

Switch to Substitution Variables in Panel. Wait a few seconds ...

I end up with a blue screen with memory access violation.

This is reproducable everytime and on different clients with above config.

Anybody else who faced this - or even better - has found a solution to this?

Kind regards,

Arno
