Watchlist - gone in newsfeed - what was it?

Hello,

 

Our teams are doing a comparison between classic and newsfeed homepage. They note the watchlist flag has gone (I have not used this before myself)

 

Any ideas on:

  • What was it used for?
  • Has it been decommissioned both in classic and newsfeed
  • If it is still in use, how is this accessed in newsfeed?
