Transaction Housekeeping - The Stuck, The Errored and the Stale

We have ability for managers to submit transactions globally at ATC. In our HR Technology team, we are the central support area supporting Fusion. It's our process currently to manually look each day to see if there are stuck, errored or transactions that haven't moved (we don't have escalation rules on).
Are there any companies, or any thoughts, to doing this a better way rather than checking both BPM and the transaction console?
