EPRCS - Is there a feature enabling use of doclets across many report packages?

I would like to know if it's possible to have doclets or reference doclets that can be common across different report packages

The problem is related to having doclets or reference doclets that can be common across different report packages e.g. updating a master doclet that is used in both Report Package A and Report Package B will result in an updated doclet for both report packages. Existing EPRCS functionality requires a lot of manual effort to maintain these common doclets in each individual report package.

 

We produce a number of reports where there is a high degree of overlap and such overlapping sections, containing common text or numbers, are fairly dynamic up to publication and when one version is released the rest are released as soon after as possible. In our legacy system, Cognos FSR, the text or data objects act as master files, where there is an option to select which reports the object appears in - therefore it is possible to manage multiple documents with overlapping sections in parallel and produce these common sections concurrently.
