Time entries are created on previous date when employee clocks in early for a 12:00 AM (overnight) s

Summary

for a shift starting 12:00 am, when employee comes in early, the time entries are created in previous day

Content

Our client works in multiple shifts around the clock. One of which is 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM.

For this overnight shift, if employees clock in at 11:45 PM, the time entry details are created under previous date. If employees clocks any time after 12:00 AM, then the time entry details are correctly created for correct date.

This is further failing the overtime calculations.

Has anyone faced this issue or knows what is the workaround?

Spliting the time at 12:00 AM and getting the time in 2 parts- will that help or is it achievable?
