Can we Update "Absence Final Disbursement" value without reverse termination

We are processing few end of services in a batch process, most of the resignations are initiated by line manager it is in approved status.

Few employee annual leave balance is wrong, so we are updating their absence balances manually through absence adjust balance, but adjusted balance value is not reflected or updated element entry value for "Annual Leave Final Disbursement".

Workaround :
It is forcing use to reverse termination and initiate termination process, our audit team has raised few concerns in reverse termination, so we are looking for any better option to update "Absence Balance" adjustment value without reverse termination.
