Creating "tickets" or "ToDo" items in ABCS

Creating "tickets" or "ToDo" items in ABCSContent
What I'm wondering is if there's a way for ABCS to create "tickets" or "todo" items by itself. So If a user clicks a checkbox, it will automatically create a ToDo or ticket on the tickets/todo page with predetermined information. I seen something similar to this using processes and the Process Cloud Service but If I'm not mistaken, that would mean we would have to pay monthly for both services which is like $100 each just to get that to work. Just wondering if the ABCS can do something like this on it's own and maybe any links or documentation
