Employee number not shown during new hire screens, we have to go back and search
Summary
We currently hire someone, and then have to search for this person to see their employee number, is there a better way?Content
I know that there is a few way of setting employee number:
HCM can generate a new number each time a new hire process is started even if it gets cancelled part way through OR
HCM can set an employee number only once the submit button has been pressed.
We are using option 2, however are finding it frustrating that we must go back in and search the persons name to get the employee number. Is everyone else doing it this way or is there an easier way to have this identified as part of the new hire transaction in the classic UI?
