Potential Impact from Change in Management Access Code enforcement in 19C
Summary
Users will be impacted if you have MAC enabled and you provide direct links to certain control panel itemsContent
During the eSkillz Webinar on Release 19C we learned that Management Access Code enforcement has a potentially negative impact if you allow users to access certain control panel functions via a direct link instead of via the control panel.
The affected control panel functions are as follows:
- Learning Plan Settings
- eCommerce
- External Training
- Assessments/Surveys
- ILT
- VILT
- Options
- Integrations
- Appearance
- Tools
- Resources
Impact: When MAC is enabled, users cannot access these control panel items via a direct link unless they first open the control panel and provide the Management Access Code because the access code can only be entered when opening the control panel.
