Parental Leave in Germany

Hi,
I have received a request to set up an absence type for Parental leave for employees in Germany, however I think it is a flexible working arrangement as the agreement is in place for 2 years, during which time the employee in question will work 3 days per week and have the other 2 days per week as parental leave.
Annual leave should continue to be accrued at full time entitlement, however if I assign these employees the 3 day per week work pattern the absence module is pro-rata'ing the annual leave entitlement.
