Summary

Mitigating decreasing performance with increase in volume of data in reference doclets

Content

Has anyone come across decreasing performance with the increase in data coming in in Excel reference doclets.

How has this been managed or mitigated. For example is a line drawn in the sand to state that Narrative Reporting is a reporting tool not a complex consolidation or data processing tool and that only summary data should be loaded into Narrative Reporting

To what degree can Excel be used to process data given the limitations of the managibility of multiple reference variables
