OAC File security - users having DV consumer role can view/download file

Hello,

We built a project in OAC DV by joining data from OBIEE Subject area and xsls files. Users were given DV Consumer role to view data in the project and they are seeing the expected data, however they have access to download the entire xsls file which has data beyrond individual users area of interest.

How can we restrict DVConsumer users from downloading/accessing the file but still be able to view the data in the project. Any ides/suggestions?

You can create different dataseet for each project, if you separate the areas of interest for each user in different XSLS files, thus segment the data by user areas.

You can also try to customize the roles from the identity management of the product and thus create roles for each user area according to your requirements.
