BI Publisher Report Not Sent Via Email

We currently have a custom BI Publisher report set up to run on the Scheduler. The report is set up to be sent to two separate users upon completion using a destination type of email. Even though the report completes successfully it is not emailed to either user. The report creates an Excel file that is 25MB in size. Some of the information I have read regarding this issue makes me think that the file is too large to be emailed from BI Publisher.
I would like to make sure that the informaion I read is the most current.
