Hello All,

I am struggling with finding a solution in creating an application that can calculate employee bonuses.

I’ve always worked with values in Essbase and never stored calendar dates.  Basically say we had an employee start date of 03-15-2019 and bonus were calculated and paid effective 9-30-2017.  We would need to calculate the pro-rated bonus based upon the number of days between the 2 dates. Same concept would apply for employees that received promotions during the year.  That is just a very basic example.

Can Essbase work with dates like that?
