How can I create Custom validations to validate viewpoint

Content

Currently EDMCS provides System validations and Application-specific validations to validate viewpoint. I would like to know how I can validate view point based on criteria that are not supported by System validations and Application-specific validations. For example, a member description cannot be renamed to include"-RESERVED-", or a member description that already has "-RESERVED-" cannot not be renamed. Thanks for your help.
