$page.variable is null

Hi,

I have a oj-table on my homepage with a first-selected-row event on which I am assigning some variables through the Assign Variables action. When the application is first run, everything runs fine. However, when I go to a different page and navigate back to the homepage and select a row in the table, I get the $page.variables is null error. I'm also assigning a flag on the selection of the table's row which conditionally enables a button. As a result, this completely messes up the application's flow.
