    Hi  Experts ,

    We are into Hyperion Profitibility and Cost Management 11.1.2.4

    Scenario : We have set the sub variables of essbase and Planning applications to All applications and databases level instead of Specific applications.

    There is certain dependency of these sub vars across applications. (Due to this we can not put the  sub vars at application specific level)

    When we were deploying one  application (it takes approx 2 hours to deploy the app) it seems to have locked the Substitution variables and the business rule on the other application failed (Because the sub vars were locked)

    Is there anything we can do so that we can launch business rules etc for one Application while the other is getting Deployed.
