Help with the setup of notifications and expirations


Good day,

We have the notifications set up so that they expire after 14 days. And after the expiration we want to escalate the notification to the manager. That functionality works as expected. But when I set the number of escalation levels to 1, the notification always expires after another 14 days and the approval is withdrawn/expired. Is it possible to not have the notification expire after the escalation? I know I can also adjust the numbers of escalations to 2 or more, but I want the notification to just stay assigned to the first manager.
