accrual balance for a new employee

Dear community,

We have the following requirement for our customer:

We have an accrual balance plan during all the year for the employees, but we need to find a way to calculate automatically the accrual balance if a new hire starts working for example in june. The expected behaviour should be to have the proportional days of the accrual. For example:

Accrual balance plan: 30  days

New employee starts in june: proportional days: 15 days

Does anybody know if there is a fast formula where we can define that rule and calculate the balance automatically?

Any help would be useful!!

Thanks,

Howdy, Stranger!
