Absence Validation FF Preventing Vacation Being Submitted with Future Termination

Hi Everyone!

I am looking for some guidance since Oracle Support does not support custom fast formulas.
I am fairly new to the creation and the writing of FF so please bear with me!

We have created a Absence Entry Validation fast formula that calls a "GET_PLAN_BALANCE" fast formula to determine if someone is allowed (based on their balance) to enter that type of absence and duration.

What I have found is that this FF works GREAT until someone has a future termination. For some reason, after their termination is submitted, the "L_Acrl_Balance" is calculating to 0 even though they have a balance!
