Out of control memory loss running Essbase calculations on new server
SummaryOut of control memory loss running Essbase calculations on new server
We recently upgraded our EPM environment to new servers and also upgraded to 220.127.116.11 during the migration. Our old Essbase server ran on Windows 2008 OS, 64gb RAM, 12 processors. The new Essbase server is Windows 2012 OS, 64gb Ram, 12 processors. Our Foundation, Planning apps run on a separate app server which was also upgraded.
EPM 18.104.22.168 installation and migration went smoothly. Since we could not do out of place 22.214.171.124 migration, we first performed 126.96.36.199 to 188.8.131.52 upgrade on a separate test server containing all of our Essbase/Planning apps. We then performed a clean 184.108.40.206 install on the new production environment and migrated all of the Essbase and Planning apps to the new server. All apps migrated smoothly and no errors were encountered.
