Deferred Depreciation Functionality Oracle Assets

Hi all,

I've got a question on the Deferred Depreciation functionality in Oracle Assets. The Deferred Depreciation Expense and Reserve Accounts are mandatory to fill in for each Asset Book that is being created. However, as far as I understood the functionality itself, the Deferred Depreciation functionality calculates the difference between the Corporate and Tax Book as reporting and tax regulations may require one to account for temporary differences in expenses between those books.
