Note: I am able to connect to ATP/ADW using ojdbc8.jar

I have referred this doc https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/application-development/jdbc/documentation/atp-5073445.html where it is specified that using 18.3 & 19c & 12.2.0.1 or 12.1.0.2 JDBC drivers we can connect.
