Product Genealogy is disabled and not available

Issue with viewing Product Genealogy

Content

"enable genealogy tracking" attribute is enabled under Service group for Product attribute for all Lot and Srial contolled items. When viewing the Product Genealogy under either Manufacturing or Quality tasks we see that Genealogy Details options is disabled. The Information and Transaction details options are enabled. Shoudl any Porcess be run to generate the genealogy?
