Tracking Visual observations/best guess gender/race/ethnicity
Summary
How are people managing their opt-out populations?Content
I would love to hear how other clients are tracking visual observations/best guesses for US employees who have opted out of self-identifying gender and race/ethncity. Right now, there doesn't appear to be any delivered option other than to overwrite the employees' Not Disclosed value.
If an employee chooses not to self-identify, we would like to leave that choice in place and have a separate place to track our visual observation/best guess that can then be leveraged in reporting for EEO and internal diversity reporting. We would not want to disclose that value to the employee in case of error/misjudgement.
