Email Synchronization from OKTA to HCM Cloud
Summary
This demo use case walks through how OIC can be used to synchronize email accounts between OKTA and HCM Cloud, where OKTA is the master.Content
This use case explores the use of OIC to satisfy the needs of managing user email addresses between HCM Cloud and OKTA. It is assumed that OKTA is acting as a broker for an email service. Initial workers are created within HCM Cloud and are loaded into OKTA. (Please reference the ATOM OKTA use case for details on how to achieve this). Once created in OKTA, an email service creates a new email, and updates the value within OKTA, through an OKTA connector. OIC retrieves the updated email address and then makes an update call into HCM Cloud.
