Approval Rule - check if worker is in initiator's hierarchy

edited Nov 15, 2019 4:05PM in Human Capital Management 11 comments

Summary

Can we check if a worker is in the submitter's hierarchy in an approval?

Content

I know that we can check for the case when the submitter is a direct line manager for a worker... but can we check if the submitter is any level of Line Management for a worker?

From https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=2499650.1, I see...

(transactionApprovalRequest.Requestor == GetManager("LINE_MANAGER",Task.payload.Worker's Current Assignment.result.Assignment Supervisor))

But this appears to be only the direct manager, not n Levels above.

Howdy, Stranger!
