Inactive Approval Requests automatically Denied (withdrawn) after 180 Days
Summary
Inactive Approval Requests automatically Denied (withdrawn) after 180 DaysContent
Hi,
Background:
The Workflow Approval Transactions (Example: Absence Approval) which are pending for Manager's Approval for a long period are automatically Marked as Denied.
We raised an SR with Oracle and got the below updates.
"All other in-progress or open tasks without any user update in 180 days after the task creation date will be called for automatic withdrawal and task status is changed to Withdrawn."
Technically , in the Absence Entries Table ANC_PER_ABS_ENTRIES , for these absence records , the column "APPROVAL_STATUS_CD" is marked as 'DENIED' and the APPROVAL_OUTCOME column is marked as ''WITHDRAWN'
